He earned both his bachelor’s degree and Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Southern California (USC). He also attended the prestigious Wharton School of Management and has published several articles on real estate and resort development.
As one of the original development team of Cancun, Ixtapa and Los Cabos, Mr. Robles-Velarde directed the strategic, financial, investment and marketing planning for real estate projects with the Government of México's resort development branch FONATUR. During his tenure, he was responsible for the 1.2-billion-dollar development of México's most famous resort. He also participated actively in the master planning for Loreto, Nuevo Vallarta, Huatulco, and Los Cabos.
Having participated in different kind of developments including residential communities, hotels, golf courses, and mega-resorts, Mr. Robles brings development knowledge and a network of business and government relationships.
